I’m writing to share the latest Alice Bliss news. I’m just back from my book tour which took me to London for the Richard and Judy Book Club (they chose AB for their Summer List which means that AB is in every WH Smith Bookstore in the UK), and up and down the east and west coast of the US. I also had a wonderful time at BEA and at the American Library Association Conference. The Massachusetts Library Association has chosen Alice Bliss as a “Must-Read” book for 2012. If anyone happens to come upon that scenario, please send me a picture. In the meantime, here’s Alice Bliss at Charing Cross...

Here’s the big news I’ve been dying to share. Sworn to secrecy until it was announced on May 23rd, and then I was actually in London for the announcement and launch. ALICE BLISS has been chosen for the Richard and Judy Book Club for Summer 2012 in the UK. The Richard and Judy Book Club partners with the WHSmith bookshops throughout the UK. This means that Alice Bliss will be prominently displayed, along with the other 9 titles featured, for the entire summer. This is a very popular book club and they have an active Facebook community. They will be rolling out video interviews and podcasts as the summer progresses and I will do a book club Skype chat in August with readers. Picador very kindly brought me to London for the interviews and hosted a cocktail...
