Dreaming about France, and in particular, visiting France, is one of my favorite things to do. The other members of my family might like to visit other countries every once in awhile. But for me, it’s France, France, France.
Last September I was lucky enough to go to one of my favorite places in the world, the Ile de Re, just off La Rochelle on the Atlantic coast of France. So this year I am dreaming about that vacation. Dreaming – and remembering – are free. And kind of what a novelist does all day long anyway.
